At the end of January, a series of seminars took place at the Research Center for Emergency Medicine in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Vienna has been at the vanguard of medical progress across various eras. Like virtually no other major city or region in the world, Vienna offers outstanding medical care that is at the forefront of medical discovery. Designed to promote the work of Vienna’s medical schools, the gala showcases the latest medical advances and plays an active role in supporting future developments.
The aim of the Vienna OMI – Research Observership Program is to provide basic biomedical and clinical research skill training to Alumni of the Salzburg Seminars. Former seminar participants have the opportunity to spend 3 months in one of the leading Austrian research institutions, where they can participate in research projects and acquire essential research tools. This program is designed to help clinicians who are interested in science and research to build a professional network for future cooperations with leading Austrian research institutions.
